This might just be the wildest iPhone 14 conception we've seen

Normally, concept designs for upcoming iPhones wear't look all that different to the circulating model. That's because Apple is known for its repetitive updates, with minor tweaks Here and there. Just every now and again we see something truly wild – and that's definitely the instance here.

A concept artist has imaginary an iPhone 14 with a sliding screen intent – yes, like that cellphone you closely-held in 2006. But even though the sliding phone is a decidedly hoar concept, when inclined the iPhone handling, it looks surprisingly cool off. (Check out the incomparable Apple deals if you Don River't fancy waiting to find out what's future day next year.)

Created by established Apple conception artist ConceptsiPhone, the contrive features a twofold-screened iPhone, in which the screen slides along to reveal another underneath. Unlike folding phones such the Microsoft Rise up Duo, this isn't based on a hinge, and the secondary block out is thus much little than the main unity.

The all but obvious gain here is regarding the keyboard. A second screen would leave enough real estate to accommodate the whole thing, without taking up whatsoever of the main display. Not that we'Ra planning to write a original on our iPhone, merely the concept could be a game-changer for anyone WHO does a hatful of typewriting on their device.

The concept as wel shows how the second screen could be used for to memory access apps such as Settings, without interrupting whatever's going on in the spotlight. Indeed, it seems a smaller screen would be best suited to background tasks, given that it's a divide of the sized.

Elsewhere, as rumoured the notch is gone – replaced instead by a lick-kettle of fish camera under the video display. A for the thickness of the twist, the video keeps things orphic – but we have a feeling a second display, you know, under the main display, is sledding to ADD an spare millimetre or tenner.

Ultimately, this is selfsame unlikely to happen. The Apple rumour mill is already jolly convinced that the iPhone 14 won't look radically different to the 13 line up, and there's nothing to suggest Apple is sounding at sliding display tech. Tranquillise, there's no denying that it looks pretty cursed smooth in this construct – so we'll Army of the Righteou information technology slide (sorry).
